Such a sad loss. A truly inspiring man who was so, so much more than the name on our uniform.
My fondest memory of Ian was when I first started with BM and our client had an event and Ian showed up. My manager told us the Chairman was coming to visit and along came Ian looking like a Chairman in his dapper suit. Then he took off his jacket and asked where we wanted him. He stayed the whole shift and helped clean up.
That was almost 15 years ago and when we last met he reminded me of how far I’d come since then. He was such a kind, humble and charming man who made such an impact in the world and leaves such a great legacy.
I have so much respect for what Ian and Wendy built and this great man will be sorely missed.
