It was with great sadness that I learnt of Ian’s passing. He was a true gentleman, always had time to talk to you and share he’s adventures in France and how he was growing his own grape vines. He used to send me his wine blog weekly with some great recommendations which always went down well with his followers. I used to love the way he’d pop over to Waitrose to buy some wines to try them to make sure they were good enough to share. He really will be greatly missed.
