Simon was such a lovely kind soul. I worked with him one summer at his parent’s pub when he cooked in the kitchen at The Folly at Whippingham on the Isle of Wight. He always had time for people and was so caring. We used to have long conversations so pleased he followed his dreams in his career, amazing legacy to leave behind. I was very sad to read of his death and my thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
