I am tremendously sorry to hear of Stuart’s death. We met when we joined ARUK’s scientific advisory board on the same day. Through this I was fortunate enough to see Stuart for at least a couple of days, twice a year for six years- both while we worked and over a pint or two in between. I always greatly enjoyed your company, your scientific insight. Shared talk of food, family and a bit of science gossip where greatly enjoyed. I have missed these in recent times as our paths had crossed less often, and very sadly those times can now never be regained. I shall, however, always cherish the memories and share them with others whose lives you improved in a similar fashion
