I have known Andy since we worked together at QBE and currently at Protector. It is fair to say I probably wouldn’t have joined Protector without him, his standing in the market brought credibility. This turned out to be one of the best things I have done, and I am forever grateful to him for his part in that. An absolute fountain of knowledge but beyond everything else he always found time for people. No matter what it was you needed, or how busy he was, he was always there to coach, train and share his expertise – a genuine role model. There are so many things I will miss but his dry wit and wry smile lit up so many working days – he always kept you on your toes! Whether sharing stories about the family or a glass of wine at an event he was such great company. We will all miss Andy greatly and my deepest condolences go to his family.
