Dearest Kamola, I was so sad to hear the news of your passing. It is very rare in life to come across someone with such positivity, kindness and generosity as you, even in the face of great adversity. We met when I first joined the Bank and I had the privilege to visit Azerbaijan during your leadership there. My visit to Baku and Ganja will live in my memory forever, as well as the long hours of conversation, guidance and reflection we had over lovely cups of tea in Baku. Your legacy lives on, through your family, charitable causes that were so dear to your heart, and all of your achievements, not only in the Bank, but in influencing people’s lives. My deepest condolences to your family in these very challenging times.
