Nicholas Kehoe was born in Dublin in 1951. He grew up in Ballyfermot Dublin and went to school in St Johns college De La Salle. When he finished school he went straight into training as an apprentice electrician in ESB Networks. He trained in Naas Co Kildare where he stayed all week in digs with other apprentices. He started out in the Tallaght Depot working there for 25 years before they moved the depot to head office in Leopardstown where he worked until he retired in 2010.
