Joseph Ozobia

Joseph was a force of nature; a whirlwind of activity, with an infectious laugh and smile he shared with everyone from the Principal to academics to the cleaners.
I was lucky enough to work with him, even with a desk next to him so I could nag/remind him to drink enough water and have lunch. Oh, and enjoy sherbet lemons. He needed a coffee in the morning (when we ran out once, I had to go looking for some at 8am in the upstairs kitchen!), so a gift for his 25th work anniversary had to be a travel mug with his well-known catch phrases:
– What’s your problem?!
– Oh..my..days!
– It’s like a madhouse!
He enriched the life of so many of us and I’m grateful to have known him. I wish we’d be able to have a proper send-off for his retirement and that he’d got to enjoy it for so much longer.
Joseph, rest in the peace you so rightly deserve x
