I’d known Steve for many years and as others have said, he always gave his best in whatever task he was given. He was honest in his opinions and a caring person but also very witty, often making me smile with his little jokes about various things in life to brighten the day. One of the most memorable things I will remember about him were his many waistcoats, one of which he kindly loaned me for a fancy dress event. I also discovered that Steve had been on the same school cruise trip as my brother during conversations with him, small world. I hope that his family and friends will take comfort in the fact that he touched many lives at Barclays over his long service and will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace.
