I learnt the dreadful news on Sunday morning and, like so many here, could not believe what I was hearing. I had an email exchange with Louise only a couple of weeks ago over the death of our dear colleague David Hughes, as I was unable to attend his funeral, and wanted to send my condolences.

Louise was one of the kindest, most thoughtful and caring people I have had the privilege to know over the many years we have been colleagues. She and Roger were a wonderful partnership and together brought such joy and fun into our lives, their skills were immense.

She was definitely a glass half full person and her tenacity, energy and love for her job was boundless.

I am going to miss her beyond words and the audio world has lost one of its finest.

My sincere condolences to Roger and the family at this deeply sad time.
