Colonel the Reverend Robbie George Russel Hall QGM

I met Robbie and Helen at a Harvest Supper in Newport in 2016 when I was 36, and heard Robbie’s amazing testimony as he was the speaker that night.  I had only been a Christian barely six months myself at that point, so Robbie and Helen were a huge inspiration to me and I never forgot them.  I especially enjoyed talking to Robbie as a Christian man I could really look up to, and we also had shared interests in sheep farming.

I was very honoured when he agreed to come and give his testimony at an event I organised in Caerwent several years later, where he spoke to about 80 people, and in fact, we were the first event held in the Coach & Horses’ brand new function room that night.  I very much enjoyed getting to know both Robbie and Helen better as we planned the evening.  I found Robbie so fascinating to talk to that I felt I could just talk to him all day if we had the time!

He is a dear brother in Christ that I very much look forward to seeing again when, by God’s grace, I enter heaven one day myself; as like him I know that I am a sinner, forgiven because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.
