Very sad news.  Mary was always mindful of the Old Bancroftians’ Association, the ways in which it could benefit the School and the ways in which the School could assist it.  Personally, I found her one of the most open Heads in my (rather a lot of years’) experience of them, and I am sure she will be much missed.
