Gavin and I worked together on the Customer Information App for years and during that time we really connected and I felt I found a friend.  He  was excellent at work and always embraced a challenge even flying up to Glasgow at short notice and on a Friday, to meet me at a 3rd party call centre to help out with some tech problems we were having.

Gavin always found the best in people and talked with passion and conviction about helping homeless people, as “Often they just need someone to talk to, to make them feel normal and not ignored by society”…  This is something that has really stuck with me since!  Last time I saw Gavin was in the Hive office in Rathbone Place, where we hadn’t seen each other for 18months or so, but when we grabbed a drink together it felt like it was just last week we were chatting… 

I will miss Gavin as I am sure the world will too
