There are lots of photos we would like to add showing PNK 6 and Joy and Geoff enjoying themselves over the years. However, I suppose we need to leave some room for other people to add their condolences!

We have known Joy for so long that she is, despite the distance of 12,000 miles, always part of our conversations. Bette was one of her bridesmaids when Joy and Geoff got married in 1970 and was delighted that her long dress and sleeves hid the bruises she had from falling off a bike a few days before the wedding! We borrowed a friend’s bus so that we could take the whole group to the wedding breakfast and there are photos of Joy – in full wedding regalia – trying to climb into the driver’s cab. Lots of memories of our two families – I met Bette at the wedding and married her the following year so we had a good arrangement of frequently visiting each other at Manchester or Leicester or Ruddington. There are so many enjoyable visits that we cannot write about them all.
