I knew Dens since as long as I’ve been at the IOP. Always on top of her stuff and a great professional. Still can’t believe she’s no longer with us, and my heart bleeds for all of my colleagues at IOPP, as well as her friends and family. My fondest memory of Dens, other than that she wore a lot of black, wasn’t something she was actually aware of. Many years ago, going back to our time at Portland Place, a temp EA to our former director, Peter Cooper, took a call for someone in the office from Dens. None of us had a clue what Dens wanted or who she was trying to reach, as all the EA kept asking is why Dens would call herself Dens! Not a Scooby was my response…
