Dr Antonella Palmieri was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. from the minute I walked into her lecture on the first day of university I knew she’d be somebody I’d remember for years to come.  

She was always so caring and compassionate. You always felt looked after in her presence and her lectures and seminars were the highlight of my week. I’m incredibly greatful to have gotten the chance to know her.

Antonella was so admired and adored by the students she taught, because she was the smile you needed to see to push you to keep going. She was the one we all knew was rooting for us and we wanted to do her proud, always. 

she was truly a great woman and I hope she knew just how uniquely admired and respected she was by all who new her.
