Mike played for Glasgow Clan back when I first started going to ice hockey games. I remember his fast and furious play and he was a fan favourite. He’s definitely one of the players from my first season who left the biggest impression on me. I always looked forward to seeing him play, even with our opposition and of course with Team GB. It’s such a big loss for UK hockey and he will be greatly missed.
