We were so very sorry and saddened to hear the news about Graeme.  The three of us became friends when we all worked together in Shell Centre at Waterloo way back in the mid 1970s in Crude Oil Trading.  The two Gs shared something in common, they were both passionate about sport and in particular football and as they both supported dfferent teams – Man Utd and Chelsea – it often made “interesting” discussions at times!  They also enjoyed playing squash and five-aside football during the lunchtimes and Graham reminded me of the time Graeme played in a pale pink kit after a mishap in the washing machine!  I still remember how I would often look out of my window across to their offices and see the pair of them playing cricket!!  Two internal doors of the adjoining offices were open to give plenty of space and at one end one would bowl a squash ball whilst the other was at the other end using a long plastic ruler for a bat!  Happy days!!

We have such fond memories of many happy times together all those years ago and our thoughts are with Fiona, Arwen, Ross and all the family during this very sad time.

The photo of the two young Gs was taken during a lovely holiday in Menorca in 1977.
