Pete was amongst my closest friends at Mercedes-Benz. For over 20 years he was a voice of reason, a shoulder to cry on, an outstanding drinking buddy and a trusted confidant. Professionally, was held in the highest regard by everyone that knew him and I had the utmost respect for him. Personally, he was a wonderful human being – wise but with a wondeful sense of humility.
