My path crossed with Russell in Jan 2016 when I joined D4T4 Solutions.

I recall travelling to the UK on the 2nd or so of Jan 2016 for onboarding/training and Russell took me under his wing. Picking me up and dropping me off at the hotel, even if it was an additional stop before his regular evening football game, and guiding me on where to grab a decent coffee in the morning plus other minor facets of life while on the road.

In the subsequent years, Russell was a subject matter expert I could lean on and trust, addressing any question I might have had and at any reasonable hour of the day. I recall many times when Russ and I would share insights into each other lives outside of work, the very purpose for why we worked in the first place.

I’m honoured to have had the opportunity to work with, report to and consider Russell a friend.

My heartfelt condolences go to his family. I will surely miss the presence of a truly lovable and kind person.
