I was lucky to meet Ben several years ago and be touched and influenced by his generous spirit, kindness and wisdom. My work changed after our first meeting as I gained a different appreciation of what mattered to people and how to help and support others. He would kindly offer me thoughts and guidance on my emerging ideas and had a wonderful ability to offer me support but never be critical. During COVID the task of supporting my NHS colleagues took on a different scale and on several occasions his influence and supprt were present. Ben made a difference and I am a better person for his wisdom and guidance.
