Sarah Cunliffe

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah for ten years at Perennial. She gave me such a warm and friendly welcome when I joined, and as time went on we developed a real friendship, having many happy conversations around our love of holidays and dogs. We’d regularly chat about Army and Nyla and I’d love hearing all Sarah’s stories about the things she got up to with Rosa and Archie, and on her many trips abroad. Sarah could always make me laugh, even when times were tough. The photo I’ve shared is us standing outside a hotel in the freezing cold after a fire alarm went off when we away at a work function. As you can see from our smiles, we made the best of it! Sarah’s sense of optimism and humour never failed – the last message she sent me telling me tales from the hospital ward made me laugh out loud. Sarah loved her job and was amazing at it. Her sense of right and wrong, and her care and dedication to the service users and her colleagues made her a very special member of the team and her loss will leave a very big hole. Sarah will be very much missed x
