My sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved Michaela, and of course her family whom she loved so deeply. Reading everybody’s accounts on this website is very humbling. She clearly touched so many lives. I first met her at school when we were about 11 years old. I will remember her for her faithful friendship over many years, her kindness, generosity, understanding, her smile and her laugh, her elegance and her way with scarves. We shared many good times together. She loved to catch up on culture whenever she came back to London, so we would go to the theatre, an exhibition or cinema. More often than not we would simply go and have a drink or meal somewhere nice and catch up on gossip. Dear, funny, wonderful Michaela, you have been a constant in my life. Thank you for your friendship.
