Joyce, you were just in London and Manchester 6 weeks ago.  So many plans.  The new album was due and I had made tentative enquiries for additional dates around your scheduled visit next May 2023.  It was a privilege and an honour to be able to describe you as a colleague and friend.  11 years of touring and each time we were on the road, although I didn’t always get it right you were always a joy to host.  The excitement of the crowds in the UK was always something to behold.  On a personal level, All in All was the soundtrack to my youth, the floor filler when I first started to attend parties as a young teen, so working with you was a full circle moment.  I was always humbled when you and Errol would reach out to check in and ask how family were doing, even when in the UK with other promoters.  I really appreciated that which is a rare commodity in today’s business.  I’m still processing as I type that I won’t be able to work with you again.  My thoughts are of course with your immediate family amd close friends. My sincere and deepest condolences go out to them and if it’s of any consultation Joyce Sims memory will live on in the UK for many years to come.  Ms Sims has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands through her music, a feat most only could dream of achieving.  May you rest in eternal peace 🙏🏾
