When I think of Philip I will always remember a gentle but strong character. He was clearly sharp and intelligent but yet so humble in spirit. He knew scripture well and was faithful in his gift to explain it and teach it’s principles for as long as he was physically able to. He was a gentleman in our conversations, patient and kind with his responses. A joy to have a chat with. My witness of his determination and perseverance to overcome his physical challenges leaves me with a profound sense of admiration and respect. I watched him live out the word of God, in his latter years, with grace and humour. When I think of him, I think of the love of God in action. I am so greatful and blessed to have met him.
