Mark was a knowledgeable and strong leader, a trusted colleague, a dedicated family man, and my good friend.  I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mark for well over a decade.  He was a Showcase man, through and through, and proud that his talent, dedication, and wide knowledge of cinema exhibition resulted in his deservedly leading our UK circuit.  He was incredibly funny, and our business discussions often led to fits of laughter.  I will miss him greatly.  Mark, wherever you are, the next few pints are on me.
