Stephen tanswell

Laughter – lots of laughter is my overriding memory of Steve. He was the centre of every party and every celebration. My favourite story was when Jo and Steve turned up at our house in Bolton to meet six weeks old Grace. I was exhausted, sleep deprived and not yet fully enjoying motherhood. Steve took hold of Grace, looked intently into her eyes and began sticking out his tongue out at her…rhymically (Jo – you can tell your kids what he said). Grace stared at him and then began to smile for the first time. He couldn’t stop giggling as I tried to punch him without disturbing Grace. Sending you all our love Jo, Jake, Ollie and Emily. When we go to see mum we will always visit Steve. Joan is probably sat watching him dance and calling him a plonket
