Barbara was a great friend and colleague and is certainly missed a great deal.

I will remember a lot about Barbara fondly; always carrying a large bag of fruit anywhere she went, her sense of humour, supportive nature, and her propesnity to talk utter rubbish! Many a meeting went off track discussing completely random topics.

Barbara was certainly caring to the whole team, hence why she gained the nickname of Mumma Bear, but she wasn’t afraid to tease us all either. I was on the recieving end of some of her teasing on more than one occassion, normally for drinking too much or facebook stalking of trial troops!

Included is a picture from our trials in Kenya – a fantastic trip and we were very lucky to see some lovely animals, including Barbara’s favourite, the giraffes.
