Sandy Wallace

Have fond memories of Uncle Sandy and Auntie Fiona from times of visiting at Alona, especially when passing by Newbiggin’ on a trip back from Dundee in my late teens.  After I moved to USA we had several trips home, the first time Lewis met Sandy and Fiona was at a family even and looking back at photos of Uncle Sandy dancing with baby Lewis reminds me of what a wonderful Uncle he was.  We loved our time in Florida with y’all and spending Lewis’ ever first Disney trip with your family was truly amazing, who better to visit Disney with.   Our trips home to Scotland have always involved a visit to Sandy and Fiona, on Lewis’ last trip we went to Camperdown Park, rode the double decker bus from Carnoustie to Dundee, Lewis was tickled pink to sit on the top of the double decker.  Sandy spent a long time showing Lewis all the animals.  My last trip to Scotland, myself, of course involved a trip to Carnoustie where we had fun in the garden, Ashely, Kerry and girls came by and memories of great sunny day will never fade.   The last couple of years with covid have prevented us from coming home but chats on the phone with Sandy when Mum was staying with him were lovely even if it was only a few minutes depending on how he felt.  He truly was a wonderful caring Uncle and will truly be missed by all.
