It’s really hard to express how shocked and sad and sorry I was to hear about Mark. I always enjoyed chats and laughs with him in the coffee queue (mostly about cycling). He was a very willing and helpful volunteer any time we needed a last minute extra interview done on a Wednesday afternoon, and he was a regular mention in my twice yearly survey of my tutor groups about their favourite teachers. I didn’t know him as well as I would have liked, but a more friendly chap you couldn’t wish to meet. Our love and thoughts and wishes are with Karen and family.
