Stephen Fell

I am so sad to hear the tragic news of Mr Fell’s passing. I feel so lucky to have been taught by him KC. He was the most fantastic teacher, his passion for chemistry made such a difficult A level fun and interesting and he was so supportive of us all achieving our goals academically. I always looked forward to his lessons. I can say for sure I would not be where I am now today, starting out my career as a pharmacist, without his dedication to his teaching and pupils. He was also my 6th form tutor and he managed to make me smile every morning at registration despite the stresses school and exams bring.
I also had the joy of several D of E expeditions with Mr Fell leading us. I have such happy memories of Felly treating us to a hot chocolate after 4 days camping and trekking in Snowdonia in February. Only Mr Fell could manage to cheer up a group of grumpy 17 year olds who’ve just climbed up and down Snowdon in the rain!
My sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones and I hope you can take some comfort in what a legacy he has left and the hugely positive impact he had on so many young people, staff members and others in KC community and beyond. I have much to thank him for, he was a joy to be around and I will continue to be inspired by him. May he rest in peace.
