I only met Laiba on a couple of occasions through sharing classes with her in third year on the Science, Technology and Medicine in the Middle East course. But after reading your post I remembered her well, as I had formed the strong impression of a friendly, bright and curious person when chatting with her after a class. It is a shame we didn’t share more classes.
