Since I joined HWU in 1999, Patricia has always been there: with her kindness and competence she helped me navigate the vagaries of the British HR academic system. To me Patricia was the very essence of HWU; gentle and professional, she was always at the other end of an email… But we enjoyed also speaking of travel, good food and Italian fashion.
