Colonel the Reverend Robbie George Russel Hall QGM
After sitting on the agnostic fence for so many years, it is hard to put into words the debt I owe to the man who finally helped me off the fence and to find my faith.
Robbie was a man of the people and whatever stage you were at in your spiritual journey he could find the right words to engage you. His love for his Lord was infectious and however difficult things were for him his mantra was always “God has a plan”
Sadly that plan took him from us but we must learn to be thankful for the time he was with us rather than grieve about the time that we will be without him. The day of my baptism will stay forever in my memory and I thank God that he brought Robbie to Hope albeit for a short time. Though the time was short he has left us with his plan and a legacy for many years to come.
‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
To “Team Hall” I pray that God will bring you comfort in the knowledge that Robbie is with his Lord, whose plan has been accomplished.
