Having served on The Committee for four years, i would like to say that I found John an amiable, analytical, fair, and incisive Chairman. He allowed all to have their say and treated every member with great respect, however great or small their knowledge of the industry was. His insight and his experience was encyclopaedic. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes to his family.
