Dear Angela 

my condolences to you and the family I was very sad to learn of the passing of Shabaka and I will always remember him for all the good things that he did especially for me and Ebony Steel Band because he gave us a home when we were homeless and for that I will be forever grateful.

There were times when we did not see eye to eye but he was and kind and forgiving man who always saw the best in people and I wish I could of said these words to him in person but God knows best,
