Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll

One of my earliest memories was in 1952 when I was 6 and George VI died, followed in 1953 by the Coronation.  We had a television and a houseful of guests on the day, it was one occasion I shall never, never forget.  Since those memories the Queen has always been there, in my life, and the life of our children.

So many blessings and memories, her involvement with so many organisations including of course the Mothers’ Union… you could always feel that if she were with you you could always talk to her and ask her advice…

She will indeed be missed, but her legacy will live on and thrive through those who follow her.

May she Rest in Peace, and Rise in Glory…
