I met Rod on my first day at IDC in 2005. I couldn’t believe what a bundle of energy he was – so enthusiastic about everything (not films and music – “I don’t do films and music!”) although I think that might not be strictly true Rod seemed to have the ability to spark with all people in the right way on most subjects and transended sales into an art form – really.  You were funny (see fundraiser picture), smart, loud and proud of your Welsh heritage, not to mention devoted to your family.  You will be missed by all.. but as I said to one of our other long standing colleagues in the days after we heard the tragic news of your passing.. you were clearly needed somewhere else.  All the best Rod, journey well x
