It is just so unbelievably sad that Orla & Dad only met once in person, and that they couldn’t even have a cuddle.

Dad’s constant support, love & excitement since he found out Orla was on her way has been invaluable.

I am so pleased that Dad decided to come and meet his Grandaughter only two weeks ago. We had a great walk and made distant plans for trips to Drayton Manor & holidays to France. We thought we had so long together. If only we knew. 

You are no longer with us, but you are immortal.

Orla will grow up hearing stories about you; your brilliant jokes, the moments that made us cry with laughter and the thousands of things you did to be a wonderful father and grandfather.
