George Parry

My special memories of Uncle George, one of the worlds gentleman in every sense.

Always smiling, who would make time to talk to you no matter what he was doing.

Took me to my first football match at the hallowed ground called Anfield. Liverpool v Wrexham, me being a young Wrexham supporter standing next to him at the Liverpool end of the ground madly waving my pale blue scarf and shouting for Wrexham amongst all his fellow Liverpool supporters, if he was embarrassed he certainly didn’t show it.

Family gatherings at Grandma and Grandads caravan in Prestatyn.

His Ford Consul Capri (a car ahead of its time)

The bedroom shrine to Liverpool FC at Luner Drive.

I’m sure he will be there with Bill Shankley discussing past games

RIP Uncle George you will always be there in my memories.
