A steady sailor with too many seas not sailed has left us. We always spoke about our passion for sailing and you shared how happy you were when being out at sea with your son Thomas. Chris was solid wood all the way in to his well-intended, kind and sincere core. At the end what really matters is what others meant to you and what you meant to others. Chris was a close valued friend and a reliable insightful colleague for a lot of us. I am grateful for 18 years of both partnership and friendship.  As Chris represented a lot of the British virtues; I will quote Shakespeare: ” Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince; And flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest”
