Dylan Rich

Dylan, despite being club mates for so many years, you & Casper so often lined up against each other – WBJS v Edwalton, Colts derbies, Comp v Rushcliffe, on the athletics track too…but always in a spirit of huge mutual respect.

We know you both hoped for the opportunity to play together one day, and when it belatedly arrived last season, as supporters it was a joy to watch. Two dedicated members of the left footers union linking up telepathically to dominate their side of the pitch. Kimberley away last autumn springs to mind – a masterclass!

We will also always remember you & Lucy at holiday camps. Some older siblings couldn’t wait to get away from their younger brother or sister, making a bee line for friends the second they walked through the door. You couldn’t have been more different – attentive, caring, eating your sandwiches together, all the while helping to encourage her own developing love for the beautiful game.

Lucy – Dylan’s guiding spirit will forever be there with you.

Anna & Mike – the Dylan we knew was a sportsman, and such a gifted, game-changing one – never a stride wasted. In attitude and demeanour, such a credit to you both.

Our hearts go out to you all so much at this trying time xxx.

Shine on Dylan. ❤️⚽️
