It is hard to accept the passing of my dear friend Richard. I want to remember one day, in Hermanus, South Africa, when we sneaked out of the office, had lunch on the beach, and took a long walk with him, Pam, Emma and I on the promenade. We relaxed, laughed, had good food, and watched the dolphins play in the sea, the sky, enjoyed the warm breeze. For once, we did not talk about work. We were four friends having quality time, between meetings, trainings, contract reviews.
Richard and his big smile, sense of humour, generosity. Wherever you are, Richard, I hope you may rest in peace, and know you will not be forgotten. I am lucky to have been your friend.
with my deepest sympathy,
