Christopher Divers

This photos summarises my memories of Chris.

I first got to know Chris when he was in Singapore to work with Chelsea FC’s International Development Centre.

Being the affable person that he is, we got on well, often speaking about football, Manchester United and Brian McClair, whom I always thought he resembled. Chris was always good-natured, funny and always had time for discussion and conversation, football-related or otherwise.

When he left Singapore at the end of the year, I was hoping that he would return sometime in the future, but was informed some time later that he had left Chelsea to forge a new path for himself. Periodically we would stay in touch, most commonly via Social Media.

I miss you, mate. While our time working together and knowing one another was not the longest, it still shocks and saddens me knowing that you are no longer with us.

Rest in Peace, Mate. 😭
