Dear all, 

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of one of our founders, our collegue and friend, Eamonn Scanlon who passed away aged 57 on Monday 19th September due to suffering a prolonged illness in recent years. Eamonn was devoted to Modebest in his 27-year role as Managing Director and we will always remember his tireless efforts to make Modebest successful.

Born in Achill, Mayo. Eamonn founded Modebest Builders Ltd along with Albert Dravins in 1994 as a Groundwork Contractor. He had an entrepreneurial mindset and paved the way for Modebest to grow into one of London’s largest Concrete & Groundwork Contractors.

We will remember him with great fondness and an inspiration to many of our employees both past and present, always willing to offer his support and wealth of experience where possible to help with their developement and career progression.   

We offer our sincere condolences to his family, especially to his devoted wife Anna, who supported him every step of the way.
