I consider myself very fortunate to have got to know Jo and enjoyed her friendship over recent years.  She was great fun to be with, but also a quietly inspirational person – combining honesty, determination, kindness and professionalism to support and stand proudly with colleagues.  Her love of life, and those most precious to her, was abundently clear to anyone lucky enough to spend time in her company.  Put simply, she was one of life’s genuinely lovely people.
