I’m sorry I was an ungrateful boy who turned his nose up at your offer of chocolate cake – I would pay good money for the chance of a slice of that now.

I will always remember your wry but warm personality, delicious food (especially diabetic recipes!) your sense of fun and your generosity.  

Claire and I will remember you fondly every time we drink from our favourite red mugs which you gave us.
