Dear Jane and Anthony, please accept my condolences for Jeff’s passing. I had the privilege of working with and for Jeff for 20 years, including the time we both worked in Elk Grove Village. Over the years, we had time in the office and on a number of trips to connect on important topics like Star Wars and Lego. In between those discussions, he never passed up an opportunity to brag about you both; he loved you dearly. In my fondest memories of him, Jeff was incredibly composed, compassionate, detailed, funny and curious – he mastered the art of asking “why?”. He was an incredible mentor and friend, and he made the people around him better. He used to tell me how much he enjoyed just how blue the skies were in Chicago. Every time I look up at a bright blue sky, I think of Jeff and smile.My thoughts are with you.
