John George Hunter

Matthew
“Hey buddy”- never will I hear this line and not think of you John.
I remember the first time I saw you with your crisp white shirt and the largest collar I have ever seen. Jewellery, chains watch – Mr John Hunter had arrived.
It was an honour to be part of your wedding to Susan. I remember you both having your own bridezilla moments on the day. SUSAN! SUSAN … the flowers!? Where are the flowers!
Amazing memory makes me chuckle even now.
I will indeed look after Susan for you now my friend.
Sleep well sir x
Kelly
My own relationship with John was very guarded at first after my mom was healing from so many years of hurt. The last few years I found relief. You showed my mom what real love is. When I visited I could feel the love, affection and trust surrounding your relationship and I could breathe again.
But the biggest impact John made was with Megan. He gave her the years of a grandfather when she sadly never met one before. He filled Megan with laughter and giggles and love which Matt and I will be forever grateful for.
We wish we had more time with you. To grow as a family, attend more music festivals, hold your hand whilst getting your 5150 tattoo, watch whilst you teach Megan how to play the guitar, visit more Christmas markets and indulge more in life together.
Why this world takes away the men of our lives so young we will never know!
You came into our lives unexpected and left our lives as a step father and Grand pop pop pop pop….
RIP with your Legends John, we will miss you.
Matt, Kelly and Megan
