Julie, we were so very sad to hear of your death recently. Not sad for you – because you, I am certain, have gone on to better things – to relief from suffering, to peace at last, to the arms of Jesus himself. But really sad for those you leave behind, your family, your friends, every young person who felt the warmth of your concern. The world is poorer now you have left.
We first met you when we were volunteers on the SAYT youth bus around 2012. We so appreciated your incredibly soft heart, your listening ear, your smile. It was lovely to be around you, and I’m glad we were able to keep in touch in the intervening years via Facebook. Your passion for the environment and your committment to improving lives for others was inspirational, and your encouraging comments much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again on the other side.
To all Julie’s friends and family – we’re so very sorry for your loss. Our hearts go out to you. We’re praying for you. Lots and lots of love, Matt and Cal xx
